We were a little lax with the planning this month, and got away with it thanks to leftovers, takeout, and our bbq. Have I mentioned I love summer? I also got a bonus because Ernie took the boys cottaging for a few nights, which resulted in interesting and surprisingly healthy last-minute combos like leftover salmon and pork with a side of cereal, carrots, and watermelon. The baby loved it.
If it’s written on the calendar, we made it at home. We serve at least two veggies – usually whatever’s in the fridge. If they’re specified it’s because one of the boys chose it for his meal night.
